This will be the ninth in series on the minor league managers of the different minor league teams from Iowa. Today we will break down the Sioux City Explorers. The Explorers started in 1993 and continue to play today. The Explorers are not affiliated with any major league team, and currently play in an independent league. Many major leaguers have come through here, including Oil Can Boyd, Gerald Young, Jeff Juden and Joe Kraemer.
