If You Build It, They Will Come

 Today I've got four cards that are not Hawkeye players directly, but cameos in the background.

  This 2007 Upper Deck Scott Chandler shows Chandler with his home uniform, and Hawk fans in the background. There is an opposing player behind him that is either a New Orleans Saint (ha!) or a Purdue Boilermaker. Chandler played for the Hawks in 2004, 05, and 06. Purdue visited Iowa in both 04 and 06.  In 2004, Chandler had 4 catches for 122 yards.  2006, he had just 2 catches for 9 yard and a touchdown.   In 2004 Purdue had linebacker Stanford Keglar, #59 ... who also played in the 2006 matchup. However, I think I figured it out.  If you watch this video of the 2004 game, you will see the moment Chandler catches the ball and is chased by Keglar.         Profile Tom Knight was a corner back for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the early 90s, logging 10 interceptions in his time there.  He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 1997 NFL Draft* with the 9th overall pick**.  He played 6 years in the pros. * Iowa Connections in 1997 NFL Draft: Knight (1st UofI), Ross Verba (1st UofI), Sedrick Shaw (3rd UofI), Troy Davis (3rd ISU), Tim Kohn (3rd ISU), Dedric Ward (3rd UNI),  Damien Robinson (4th UofI) ** Hawkeyes who were drafted higher than Knight: Randy Duncan (1st 1959), Robert Gallery (2nd 2004), Dick Crayne (4th 1936), Brandon Scherff (5th 2015), John Niland (5th 1966), T.J.
