Iowa Collection Update: Baseball Part 2 (Lived in Iowa)
Some players are the lucky ones, getting to be born in Iowa, while other find their way there later in life. First group here are the player who went to High School in Iowa. Jim Fanning, Matt Ruebel, Chris K. Hatcher and Aron Weston were the only new cards added from the group, and Ed Barrow, Jeff Johannsen, C.J. Eldred ,Tyler Williams ,Eric Holmes and Donald Brummer had their first cards added in TCDB (although since I found 38 cards for Ed Barrow, I might have just missed him previously.) The second group I'll cover today are those who ended up residing in Iowa at some part of their life, not covered by another category (school, minor leagues, born). You'll find players her who decided that Iowa was a good place to live, and my collection welcomes them. The biggest addition to that group was Turk Wendell, who retired and moved to Iowa.
