Personal Notes
So my dad was a Vikings fan growing up, and that's how I became one as well. Iowa sits in this point where they have no pro teams, but are within driving range of multiple. (MLB.tv blacks out Twins, Royals, Cardinals, Brewers, Cubs, and White Sox games) So for the NFL you have the Chiefs, Vikings, Packers and Bears that typically end up being the favorites. You pick one, and despise the rest. So its always hurts the heart a bit when an Iowa guy gets drafted by the other teams.
The 2018 draft had Allen Lazard and Jackson to the Packers, Niemann to the Chiefs, and James Daniels to the Bears. It stinks to watch them on these teams, but I still collect them. That's a line I'll happily cross.
