Collecting a Schedule: Iowa Hawkeye Football (Part 3)

This 2007 Upper Deck Scott Chandler shows Chandler with his home uniform, and Hawk fans in the background. There is an opposing player behind him that is either a New Orleans Saint (ha!) or a Purdue Boilermaker.

Chandler played for the Hawks in 2004, 05, and 06. Purdue visited Iowa in both 04 and 06.  In 2004, Chandler had 4 catches for 122 yards.  2006, he had just 2 catches for 9 yard and a touchdown.

In 2004 Purdue had linebacker Stanford Keglar, #59 ... who also played in the 2006 matchup.

However, I think I figured it out.  If you watch this video of the 2004 game, you will see the moment Chandler catches the ball and is chased by Keglar. (about 1:18 mark)

2004 vs Purdue, November 6th, 23-21 victory

Tom Knight on his 1997 Pacific Invincible card here is playing a home game against Michigan State.  He played for Iowa in 1992, 94, 95 and 96.  No MSU in 92.  At MSU in 95.  So we are down to the 94 or 96 game.  Luckily for us Iowa wore their winged jerseys in 1994, so this is the 1996 matchup.

1996 vs Michigan State, October 5th, 37-30 victory over some coach named Nick Saban.

1991 Star Pics Merton Hanks has the Iowa home uniform against a non-conference team.  I didn't recognize the uniform, but I went through Hank's four years with Iowa (87, 88, 89, 90) and found that it was Oregon.

Note: The running back for Oregon is Latin Berry

1989 vs Oregon, September 16th, 6-44 loss

Sedrick Shaw's 1997 SkyBox Impact Instant Impact card shows him playing a home game against what I believe is Arizona.  Only once did they play Arizona in the 4 years that Shaw was at Iowa (1993-96).

1996 vs Arizona, September 7th, 21-20 victory
