Personal Notes

Chris Tritle of one of many Iowa baseball players who played in the minors, but never really got close to the majors.  Many of them have minor league cards, some have none, and Chris is in the select few that got to have major cards.  Bowman is usually the main source for these players, as they are the prospecting set.  Chris however have a bunch of cards across many sets in the 2002 year.  So, why Chris?  My guess is that the checklist builders in each of these companies are also prospecting, and when they add they look for those who rank high on the top prospect lists (not Chris).  Chris was probably selected for one reason.  He was the MVP of the Arizona League in 2001.  Chris did not have any other major cards after 2002.

Collection Notes

I have 2/46 (4%) cards in my collection.
